Everybody's prom night is special, and creates everlasting memories, although some are better than others! - It was my senior prom, and I had the perfect dress, a beautiful posh cream gown, which fell right down to my feet. So on the night, I was picked up by my boyfriend of 2 years, and he drove us to prom, we parked the car, and he came round and opened the door for me. I stepped out, and he shut the door behind me, except he shut it too quick and it caught the end of my dress! I tripped and fell, and the dress ripped all the way up to about 2 inches above my knee!! The rip looked terrible, and it was too late to get another dress, but luckily I had packed a mini sewing kit with some tiny scissors, so I used them to cut the dress to really short, mini skirt length. It actualy looked ok short, not so posh, but really sexy, and we had a great night. Charline, Boston.

- So, I was getting ready for the prom and wearing the most beautiful dress ever. It was backless with little roses all over the top and bottom. Anyway, I'd told my date to come pick me up at 8 and when I was dressed, I waited for him to arrive. So it gets to half 8 and my dad comes to see what's wrong because I'm getting a little worried. And a few minutes later, my date arrives. My dad answers the door and was like who are you? And my date says who he is. Anyway my dad gets annoyed because he's so late and punches him in the face. The guy was knocked out and I ran downstairs to see what's going on. It turns out that it wasn't my date at all and it was someone who got the wrong house. So we had to rush him to the hospital and then my dad dropped me off at prom on my own, so I missed the first hour, but my date was there! Turned out he got held up because his ex-girlfriend had come round at the last minute, crying and saying she still loved him and stuff, and if he'd go to prom with her! Anyway he had to deal with her and take her home, and by the time he got to my house, we'd left for the Hospital! Sarah, New York

- So like I was well excited about my prom because the most gorgeous guy had asked me to go with him. I'd been wanting to ask this guy like forever!!! So, we get there and he's like let's get a seat for a bit and I was like, yeah we can get to know each other better. So we sit down and I started to talk and he's like interrupting me and telling me about himself and I'm like, shut up after he's been talking forever and so I just say, you're so boring and get up and start dancing. So he gets up on the stage and tells everyone that I'm frigid and I have to run out of there like quick. :'( Rachael, Tampa bay

- Ok, so I was nominated for prom queen and was pretty popular and it gets to prom night and I dress up all beautiful and perfect hair and shoes and dress but I was coming down the stairs and I trip and fall a little bit but I was ok though and then my date helps me to the car and we get in but my leg really hurts and I sort of fold up my dress to see my leg and its all horrid colours and so my date takes me to the hospital and its broken and so I have to stay there and then I found out I was voted prom queen by everyone and that they took it away and gave it to someone else who was there. - My date asked me a few weeks before prom and he was known for being a little slow but quite hot. I said I'd go with him because no-one else had asked me and I was getting a little desperate. We agreed to meet at the prom because we both lived near it. So I leave my house and turn up at the prom to see a guy standing outside dressed up in a big gorilla outfit. And I was thinking that I felt sorry for that persons date, until it turned out I was her!!! So he explained that his friends had told him it was fancy dress. I was well embarrassed but we went to his place and changed him into his dad's suit and he actualy ended up being prom king!! and prom idiot. Lyndsey, Chicago
